Alpinia aquatica is a member of the ginger family native to India and western Malesia.  Delicate pink flowers adorn stems that in ideal conditions may reach six feet tall.  Plant in a shallow pool or very moist area with partial shade to full sun. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
