Golden Chain Orchid 

Dendrobium lindleyi is a compact epiphytic species known for its cascading sprays of bright golden-yellow flowers. Each pendant spike can carry dozens of blooms, creating a striking “golden chain” display. Flowers are lightly fragrant with a softly fringed lip.

Growing Requirements

• Light: Bright, indirect light; tolerates gentle morning sun.

• Water: Water regularly during active growth (spring and summer). Reduce significantly in fall and winter to encourage blooming.

• Humidity: 50–70% with good air circulation.

• Temperature: Intermediate to warm (55–90°F). Benefits from a cooler, drier winter rest.

• Mounting/Basket Culture: Performs well mounted on cork or grown in slatted baskets with excellent drainage.

Blooming Notes

Provide a drier, slightly cooler winter rest with bright light to promote strong spike production. Avoid overwatering during dormancy.
